Clarification to Minet Uganda Limited

posted onNovember 5, 2019

The Kampala Post hereby apologizes to Minet Uganda Ltd; Its CEO, Maurice Amogola, his wife Harriet Amogola, and Director Marketing and Business Development, Caroline Athiya over the story that was published in our online publication of Tuesday 29th October 2019 titled “Minet Ceo in sex scandal as wife, side dish fight in office.”

We have since established that Minet Uganda Ltd has very strict policies against romantic relationships between staff members and does not condone such acts.

Contrary to the allegations in the article, there is no and has never been a love relationship between the CEO, Maurice Amogola and the Director Marketing and Business Development Caroline Athiya. We also established that on the 22nd October 2019, the CEO was out of the country on official duties while the Director Marketing and Business Development was on leave and did not appear at the office. We have also established that the CEO’s wife did not go to the premises of Minet Uganda Ltd.

Caroline Athiya
