KAMPALA. Hardly two months after introducing Weatherguard paint that protects walls against hot and dry weather, Sadolin has launched another type of paint that guards the wall against mould.
Sadolin Wallguard is the new exterior wall paint that offers a smooth finish, colour and also features unique mould and moisture resist technology.
While speaking at the launch of the paint at Serena Hotel on Wednesday evening, Deon Nieuwoudt, the Commercial Director East Africa at AkzoNobel said that Wallgaurd paint was developed by an international task team to meet the harsh local climatic requirements in Uganda.

In a separate interview, Nieuwoudt said that Wall guard is going to be a little expensive than other paints considering the technology that has been invested in it. He added that they are going to embark on customer training to help the clients identify the best paint to suit the reigning climatic conditions.
“This is a state of the art product so it will be slightly expensive,” he said.
