Inside the house, police recovered three police uniforms, knives, mobile phones, stamps, machetes, bow and arrows and iron bars.

According to Tibakairana, the operation followed complaints from residents about the rampant cases of theft in the area.

The police also believe that the suspects could be behind the rampant theft of motorcycles from boda boda cyclists.

The suspects are currently detained at Fort portal police as police continues with the investigations.
