Singer Mozey Radio of the music duo-Radio and Weasel is currently admitted at Case Clinic following an alleged accident on Monday evening.
According to reports on social media, Radio- real names Moses Ssekibogo was beaten by members of a rival singing group but the official Facebook account belonging to the singing group disputed the news as a rumor.
“Yesterday night, Radio was involved in an accident and he is currently receiving the best treatment at Case Clinic,” reads part of the Facebook post on the Radio and Weasel page.
The post explains that, Radio’s situation “is not alarming as being reported on social media by some people. We would like to make it clear that RADIO is getting better and right now is out of comma. Please disregard all the unnecessary reports going around,” the post adds.
Ugandan artists especially those at the top level had backtracked from the habit of attacking each other with the elders in the music industry urging unity.
However recently, singer Bebe Cool opened a war of words when he listed his top artists of 2017 leaving out those that believe they did well including Radio and Weasel, Jose Chameleon, Eddy Kenzo and Bobi Wine.
Although some suggest that Radio was attacked and beaten by members of a rival, camp, his social media account says he was involved in an accident although no details were given about the accident.
However, there were some reports that Radio was beaten up on Monday night by some bouncers on a bar after involving in a fight with them. It is also reported that in the scuffle, the bouncer hit him and Radio fell and severely hit his head on floor.
