Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Kitgum Woman MP, Hon. Lillian Aber, is now the State Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, replacing Hon. Esther Anyakun, who is now the State Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations.

The National Female Youth MP, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro was appointed the State Minister for Minerals, replacing Hon. Peter Lokeris who has been elevated as the Minister for Karamoja Affairs, following the sacking of the embattled Mary Gitutu over iron sheets scandal.

The other new face in cabinet is the Sironko Woman MP, Hon. Florence Nambozo Wamala, who is now the State Minister for Karamoja Affairs. She replaces Hon. Agnes Nandutu who was also implicated in the Karamoja iron sheets saga.

Renowned events promoter and National Vice chair of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi is also among the new faces in cabinet. Balaam was appointed the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, replacing Sarah Mateke, who is now State Minister for Defence, following the elevation of Hon.
