KAMPALA. On October 2, this website exclusively reported that Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine would travel to Kenya where he would meet university students, members of the civil society among other groups of people.

As reported, Bobi Wine, on Wednesday landed in the Kenyan Capital Nairobi where he was received by his fellow Kenyan controversial Member of Parliament for Embakasi East Babu Owino who invited him.

Bobi Wine and Babu Owino were then hosted by Kenyan journalists Jeff Koinange on the Citizen TV show ‘The Bench’ on Wednesday evening.

While on the show, social media users poked holes Bobi Wine’s antics of claiming to represent Ugandan youths yet he hasn’t helped his community prosper as he actually has.

“I wonder why Bobi never takes time to encourage ghetto youths to work as hard as he did & to change their mindsets & work ethic in order to be as prosperous & successful as he is. He keeps pushing the narrative that regardless of what u do, u can't succeed and yet he did,” Joshua Mushwa tweeted during the show.

Another social media user lashed at Bobi Wine who had just said that the media in Uganda was not allowed to host him on political talk shows. However, when he returned from the US, he was hosted on a popular radio show The Hot Seat on KFM by Patrick Kamara.

#JKLive I think Bobi Wine is the least patriotic &the biggest pathological liar whose fifteen minutes of "fame" r about 2 expire. Almost everything coming from this man’s mouth is a lie. Atti we r not free....what a load of garbage. We have challenges as a country but come on man,” Joan Mirembe tweted.

Kevin Anyango‏ tweeted: “Going on TV with raged jeans? To identify with the young, create opportunities(Youth friendly policies that work) #JKLive.”

On Thursday, Bobi Wine continued with his activities meeting several Kenyan MPs and other members of the Kenya Human Rights Commission at a dinner in Nairobi.

The Kyadondo East legislator is expected to spend five days in Kenya before he embarks on another trip to Nigeria.

It should be rememebered that Babu, who invited Bobi Wine was behind the demonstrations staged in Kenya when Bobi Wine was arrested and detained in August.

Babu who is allied to opposition leader Raila Odinga’s camp also addressed the media, expressing concern over the detention of Bobi Wine.

Last year Babu Owino hired a group of hooligans to attack and heckle Kenyan Deputy President, William Ruto as he addressed a rally in Embakasi East, a constituency Babu represents in parliament. The Kenyan MP then shared the video of the incident on his social media platforms.

It should be remembered that his friend Bobi faces treason charges after he, and his co-accused attacked President Museveni’s convoy on last campaign day for the Arua by-election.

Babu Owino, a former student leader also introduced the use of drugs, violence and intimidation on opponents in Kenya, with most of the mature adult residents of his constituency shunning him as he was considered bad influence to their children, according to Kenyan media.

According to our source in Bobi Wine’s People Power outfit, the legislator who has just returned from the US also plans to meet Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga.
