KAMPALA. No criminal incidents have been registered so far as LC polls conclude, police have said.

Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima said on phone; "it's still safe and calm as for now, although people have made noise here and there, there are no criminal incidents so far and no arrests as of now."

Although there were reports of voters turning rowdy in Gomba, forcing police to shoot in air, Kayima said his Office had not received the report.

Meanwhile, it was a fair turn up in some areas visited by Kampala Post as residents queued up to vote.

In some areas, vote counting was already underway at the time of filling the story.
