Police Enters Strategic Partnership with Operation Wealth Creation to Curb Crime

According to police spokesman SSP Emilian Kayima, the MoU signed at Kapeeka Industrial Complex will strategically enable police effectively fight crime through addressing the pertinent issues of youth unemployment and vulnerable groups.

The Uganda Police Force have signed a memorandum of Understanding with Operation Wealth Creation with the aim of bringing down the levels of which have been blamed for increased crime in some parts of the country.

According to police spokesman SSP Emilian Kayima, the MoU signed at Kapeeka Industrial Complex will strategically enable police effectively fight crime through addressing the pertinent issues of youth unemployment, vulnerable groups and “this will go a long way to change the security situation as it has vividly been seen in both Nansana Municipality and Katabi Town Council where the fight against women murders yielded results, thanks to the partnership that was piloted”.
