Stop Insulting Kyabazinga – Basoga on Facebook warned

Basoga on social media have been warned against referring to their king as a boy following a resolution by the kingdom parliament to have the Kyabazinga rule for life.

The Kingdom’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Mr Alex Luganda and the Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Dr Joseph Muvawala have warned subjects against insulting Kyabazinga William Wilberforce Gabula IV on social media.

This was at a press at the kingdom headquarters early this week. The leaders pointed out members and followers of Jinja At Heart, Agafakuno and Agaf’eno Facebook groups.

The two leaders accused some Busoga subjects of harassment of the king, warning that they are following the offenders closely and that the law would catch up with them.

 The leaders urged the Busoga subjects to emulate their Buganda counterparts who “love and respect their 'Kabaka'.
