Former Proline FC sensation is once again it's player after spending half of the season at Police FC.

In a club statement released over the weekend, Ali was warmly welcomed and even compared to the biblical ‘prodigal son.’

Whatever the club meant by the ‘prodigal son,’ It is more of their own business but big on Proline FC circles is the talk of the return of Gift Ali.

In August last year, Gift Ali bid farewell to Proline in search for greener pastures at Police FC.

The midfielder who has been in the club for more than seven years had agreed a two-year tenure with the corps but terminated the deal on personal matters.

A few weeks ago, he was also being rumored to be chasing on a move to Kenya Premier League out fits, Tusker FC.

However, the deal proved to be futile and he was forced to focus on home football.

Earlier last month, KCCA FC was also interested in the same player only for them to end their interests after failing to agree on personal terms.

According to reliable reports, Ali was unhappy with the KCCA deal and deliberately refused to show up in order to seal the deal.

After all the saga, the coast is now clear and the dust has settled for Ali and for now, he is once again a Proline FC player.
