Sworn Uganda Premier League rivals have always produced stellar football whenever they clash and they never disappointed in any way when they clashed on Thursday at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo during match day 17 of the Uganda Premier League.

Teenage sensation and substitute Allan Okelllo was the hero of the day after he struck a free kick from 25 yards and destined it to the back of the net with six minutes left to end the game.

This was after he was fouled from the same area and he wasted no time and took matters to his own hands and curled a beautiful ball past Villa's wall to set his fans ablaze.

The 17-year-old midfielder came on immediately after the break in place of Jackson Nunda who was handed a rear start ever since 27th September 2017 in a clash against URA FC.

Okello's impact on the pitch were very noticeable and he almost broke the deadlock at the 76th minute when he properly packaged short was kept away by Villa's custodian Samson Kirya.

In the first half, Villa's sensations Ambrose Kirya and Abel Eterude produced two sublime shorts but KCCA's goal keeper, Charles Lukwago was equal to the task.

KCCA's Paul Macureezi also came very close at the 35th minute but his efforts were kept out of danger by Villa's custodian.

Striker Matsiko Abubakari was handed his KCCA debut by Coach Mike Mutebi at the 69th minute in place of Paul Macureezi.

Goal scorer, Allan Okello was a very happy man and noted that, 'I am very happy to have scored the only goal in the whole game but the most important thing is that the team won.''

The result implies that Villa are yet to win at KCCA's home turf for more than two years now.

However, Villa's coach Wasswa Bbosa is not pleased with the result and he noted that, 'we did not deserve to lose because we were the better team. We shall rise up in the next match against URA at home.''

SC Villa still cling on top of the table with just 33 points, just one point ahead of KCCA who have a game to spare.

As Villa take on URA FC on Wednesday 21-02-2018, KCCA will return to continental duty with a home game against CNaPS Sport in the second leg of the 2018 CAF Champions League with both teams playing at their backyards.
