The Uganda Police Force team has so far won three gold, four silver and six bronze medals in the ongoing second edition of East African Police Chiefs Corporation Organization (EAPCCO) games.
The games are taking place in Dar es Salam, Tanzania.
According to Deputy Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango, the gold medal winners include; Mary Zawadi silver (Women 100 metres), Chepkwomoi Patricia (5000metres women) and Among Rebecca Israel (63 - 67 KGS, Women Taekwondo).
“Uganda Police Force is the defending champion of EAPCCO games which it won when it hosted the first edition of the games in Kampala last year,” Onyango said on Wednesday.
Uganda Police is carrying on its winning record in both regional and international games, after three of its officers scooped medals at the Commonwealth games in Gold Coast, Australia early this year.
