Toyota Belta and Toyota Rumion: Here Are the Prices and Specifications

The Toyota Rumion is selling at USD 24,500 (about Shs92 million) while the Toyota Belta is at USD 25,000 (about Shs94m).

Toyota Belta and Toyota Rumion are CFAO Motors Uganda’s latest introductions in the market.

The cars, which were rolled out on Saturday, November 19 at the Garden City Rooftop in Kampala, have been made to cater to the needs of individuals, families and SMEs, especially if interested in a fuel-efficient yet affordable brand-new vehicles to use for day to day activities.

CFAO Motors, formerly Toyota Uganda, says the car comes with two years of free service, and a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

“These are some of the most affordable vehicles in the brand-new vehicle category with the latest tech and suitable to address the continued demand for vehicles with more fuel-efficient engines,” the company’s marketing manager Isaac Tegule said at the unveiling of the cars that are being sold under a campaign dubbed ‘Drive Brand New, Enjoy Peace of Mind’.

Toyota Belta

The Toyota Belta is appealing to the eye with its upmarket cabin that features a host of new-age features.

The five-seater ride comes with a 1.5-litre engine and its compact size makes it easy and affordable to navigate Uganda’s urban jungle while carrying a ton of merchandise.

The car boasts high-tech safety features like an automatic electrochromic rear-view mirror which protects the driver from eye strain caused by the brightness of headlights from vehicles behind which could lead to sight complications.

It also has LED lights and day running lights that ensure other road users see your vehicle better.

It comes with an advanced multimedia infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen featuring Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and more.

“The new Toyota Belta is a statement of progress, defined by its reputation and quality that will resonate with the SMEs, corporate institutions looking to streamline employee transportation and youth in need of a fuel-efficient vehicle,” said Tegule.

This one is a spacious 7-seater multipurpose vehicle (MPV) that will come in handy for school runs, family trips, shifting to a new house and businesses deliveries.

Toyota Rumion, which provides ample legroom, with an interior that can accommodate adults in the second and third rows, can be used in the taxi business or to ferry clients if you’re in the hotel business.

The rear 2nd and 3rd rows are easily foldable to accommodate all your luggage requirements, giving you more space more flexibility.

With an ultra-efficient 1.5-liter petrol engine, and advanced tech consisting of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Toyota Rumion is intelligently compact, yet convenient, stylish, and extremely comfortable.

It also has safety features such as rear parking distance control and Iso-fix child seat anchorage for that perfect drive for your little ones.

The car also has a cross-over look thanks to its 180mm ground clearance. Its smooth body and distinct personality are enhanced by daytime alloy wheels, large day time running lamps, and a grille that together create a strong impression of boldness and elegance.

Pricing and ease of financing

The Toyota Rumion is selling at USD 24,500 (about Shs92 million) while the Toyota Belta is at USD 25,000 (about Shs94m).

This covers all duties. Remember, CFAO Motors has a partnership with NCBA Bank that allows a customer to purchase the cars with up to 95% vehicle financing with a maximum repayment period of 6 years.
