250 Ugandans and legal residents who were stranded in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) are returning today, the ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement.

According to the statement, they left Dubai International Airport aboard Emirates Airlines on Monday morning and they were expected to arrive at Entebbe International Airport this afternoon at 2pm.

This group was seen off by the Immigration Attaché Amil Kabwijamu, who was accompanied by other members of Staff of the Uganda Embassy in UAE.

Uganda started repatriating her citizens in June and close to 4000 have since returned from different parts of the world.
