Eswatini's King Mswati III Hosts Gen Kainerugaba

The King of Eswatini, His Majesty King Mswati III recently hosted the Ugandan Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Gen Kainerugaba expressed his gratitude for meeting the Mornarch who hosted him at his Palace in the South African nation.

"Was very honored to meet His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini recently. He is a brilliant monarch. Uganda and Eswatini relations are very strong," Gen Kainerugaba tweeted.

Uganda and Eswatini have diplomatic relations that were strengthened following King Mswati's appointment of an honorary consul in Uganda in 2020.

Gen Kainerugaba has been involved in several foreign diplomatic visits which the President of Uganda has commended him for.

In a recent interview with the BBC, President Museveni said that it is good for Gen Kainerugaba to use his revolutionary linkages to foster good relations for Uganda and Africa.

It is believed that the General and his host discussed matters of mutual interest between Uganda and Eswatini.
