Gen Kainerugaba Donates Computers to Makerere Gender Department

The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has donated computers worth Shs10 million to the School of Gender Studies at Makerere University.

The donation that is aimed at fostering ICT skills among the female students at the University was delivered by Dr Balaam Barugahara on behalf of the MK Movement.

Barugahara who is the MK Movement National Vice Chairman for Western Uganda was accompanied by Hon Michael Mawanda and other MK Movement leaders.

The donation was received by Prof Sarah Ssali on behalf of the Women and Gender Department at Makerere.

The MK Movement also participated in a mini marathon around the University.

The aim of the run was two-fold, to celebrate the achievements already realised in the spirit of 100 years of Makerere University Celebrations and fundraise to enable the School deliver excellent learning at the School.
