In a move towards enhancing bilateral ties, the Senior Presidential Advisor for special operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, held a meeting with the Ambassador of South Korea to Uganda, H.E. Park Sung-Soo.
The South Korean diplomat who has been in Uganda since 2022 was accompanied by his deputy as they met the Ugandan General in Entebbe.
According to a message from Gen Kainerugaba’s office, their discussions focused on the projects being carried out by South Korea in Uganda.
“The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was happy to meet the South Korean Ambassador, H.E Park Sung-Soo and his delegation. They discussed various programmes being conducted by South Korea in Uganda,” the message noted.
South Korea known for its technological prowess and expertise in various sectors such as infrastructure development, information technology, agriculture, and renewable energy among others.
As both nations look towards the future, this meeting serves as a promising step towards a thriving partnership.
