ENTEBBE. All Africa Music Award (AFRIMA) winner, Bebe Cool has returned home, almost a month after scooping the prestigious award.
The Gagamel Entertainment boss touched down at Entebbe International Airport on Monday afternoon and was received by his wife, Zuena Kirema, the children led by his elder son Allan Hendrik and members of Gagamel.
Prior to winning the AFRIMA in Ghana on November 24, Bebe Cool had been in the United States for about two months. He promised to unveil the fruits of his trip abroad during a press conference on Wednesday.
“I will be addressing a press conference on Wednesday to tell you what I have been up to, however, I thank Ugandans for the support in AFRIMA,” said the musician.
Bebe Cool emerged best male East African Artiste beating the likes of Tanzanian’s, Diamond Platinumz.
His triumph silenced many of the opposition diehards in Uganda who kept trolling the pro-NRM Musician vowing not to vote for him. Indeed after being declared winner, the artiste thanked his “Silent but effective (the Silent Majority)” for the support.
Bebe Cool’s return home comes barely three days after he premiered his latest video “Wasibukawa”.
Although he preferred not to duel much on his three month trip abroad, the Musician said he had shipped in new state of the art professional cameras that would enable local musicians shoot better music videos without having to ‘cough’ dollars flying abroad for better video shooting.
