New Ugandan Drama 'Crossroads' Set to Replace 'Sanyu' on Pearl Magic Prime

Pearl Magic Prime announced the premiere of its latest Ugandan drama series, "Crossroads," debuting on June 25. This much-anticipated series will replace the beloved "Sanyu" series, which delighted viewers for four years.

"Crossroads" will explore the intertwined lives of three ambitious characters as they navigate love, power, and ethical dilemmas in Kampala's media industry.

Set in both the picturesque Kakuto Village and the bustling city of Kampala, the show promises rich narratives and complex characters.

The series centers on a love triangle featuring Kwezi Karungi, played by new actress Iradukunda Rebecca Hope. Kwezi is a determined village girl striving for a better life in Kampala.

Her best friend, McKenzie "Nebuchadnezzar" Rukundo, portrayed by award-winning actor and musician Atuhaire Emmanuel, faces challenges as he rises in the prestigious Horizon Media Network.

Meanwhile, Abby Luwandaga, played by Nicole Estella, contends with her family's powerful legacy and ethical challenges in her role at Horizon Media Network.

"Crossroads" delves into themes of ambition, loyalty, and identity, reflecting the personal and professional struggles within Uganda's media landscape. The tagline, “Where choices change everything,” encapsulates the show's core message.
