KAMPALA. The Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations Maj. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has extended condolences to the family of the Kibuku RDC Juliet Najjuma's family following the death of her four relatives that perished in a motor accident.
The four relatives driving in a Vitz were crushed by a Fuso Lorry in Wobulenzi-Luweero on Sunday evening.
In his message, Gen Kainerugaba said that he was deeply saddened by the death of the four youthful Ugandans.
"I was deeply saddened to hear the loss of these young people who succumbed to a tragic accident. The loss of these young and energetic Ugandans is a great loss to our country," he said.
Gen Kainerugaba's office contributed Shs5million to help in the burial expenses of the deceased. The four were buried on Tuesday.
They include Florence Nankumbi, 28, Patience Najuma, 28, Richard Lule, 30 and Isaac Mbogo, 32.
"Please accept my sincere condolences and may the Almighty God comfort the family in this trying time," said General Kainerugaba.
He further said that he has known the bereaved family, and RDC Najjuma in particular for a long time.
"She is a cadre whom I work with closely to ensure unity, peace and development of our motherland. I once again pray that God grants you the strength needed to get through this difficult time.
May the Almighty God rest their souls in Eternal Peace," General Kainerugaba's condolence message further read.
