The Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo has said the Judiciary did everything possible to save Justice Kenneth Kakuru’s including denying him early retirement so that the government could cater for his medical bills.

The Chief Justice Justice Bart M. Katureebe, has set up a six-member Taskforce, headed by the Inspector of Courts, HW Immaculate Busingye, to investigate allegations of corruption in the Judiciary.

The transfer letter is signed by Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet, Dr John Mitala.
