“They are being held under Section 227 of the Penal Code Act, the charge being Rush and Neglect Act,” Onyango said in a statement on Tuesday. The State Minister for Water Resources Ronald Kibuule’s twins; Rayden Wasswa and Raymon Kato, two years reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his home in Kasenge village, Mukono district on Monday at around 5:30pm.
Police say the arrest of the workers is to help in investigation of the incident that has left the country in shock.
Kibuule who is currently mourning the death of his children could not hide his happiness after welcoming his double bundle of joy in 2017 when they were born.
The Minister said then that God had given him all he asked for, alluding to the fact that he had got twins, on top of his soaring political career.
