PICTORIAL: New Miss, Mr Victoria University 2019 Crowned

All roads on Saturday led to Speke Resort Munyonyo for the highly contested Miss and Mr Victoria University 2019 beauty contest.

The beauty contest that attracted 10 participants; 4 gents and 6 ladies for the top crown saw Achan Nhial Bol and Robert Sekamanya claim the 2019 Miss and Mr Victoria University respectively. The room jumped into celebration after the panel of judges led by the former Miss Uganda Leah Kalunguka announced Achan as new Miss Victoria University and Sekamanya as the new Mr Victoria University.

The duo was showered with cash and a complementary stay at Munyonyo for one night with their lovers. Earlier, the contestants showcased their talents, knowledge, and creativity, culture among others in a colorful ceremony witnessed by Rajiv Ruparelia and Naiya Ruparelia with super performance from Ykee Benda.

This is the third time Ruparelia Group owned University is orgainising such pageants. Achan will be taking over the beauty crown from the outgoing Miss Victoria University 2018, Precious Namuli. Last year’s pageant was held at Kabira Country Club in Bukoto.
