Former Archbishop Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo is Dead

The retired Archbishop of Church of Uganda fell sick in November 2016 and had an emergency lung operation last year.

The retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo who returned from the United Kingdom (UK) where he had been hospitalised for months receiving treatment for cancer is dead.

Nkoyoyo died on Friday at Kampala Hospital where he had been admitted.

The retired Archbishop of Church of Uganda fell sick in November 2016 and had an emergency lung operation last year.

The retired clergyman returned from the UK last year in June after the lung operation.
