KAMPALA. The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has retired 11 army officers between the rank of Brigadier and Major General in a function presided over by President Museveni who is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces.

The function to discharge the officers happened at State House Entebbe on Wednesday.

Some of those officers that were retired include Maj Gen Hussein Adda, Brig Yowasi Kizza, Maj Gen Kasirye Gwanga, Maj Gen Joshua Masaba, Maj Gen James Ssebagala and others as seen in the photos below. The officers joined the Ugandan forces in 1963, 1966, 1968 and 1981. (Courtesy photos).
