French Ambassador Ends 3 Year Diplomatic Tour to Uganda
The French Ambassador to Uganda, H.E Jules-Armand Aniambossou has on Saturday offically ended his three year diplomatic tour to Uganda.
H.E Aniambossou will now embark on his new diplomatic duties as the French Ambassador to Accra, Ghana.
"Today, after 3 years as France's Ambassador to Uganda, H.E @JaAniambossou leaves #Kampala for #Accra to continue promoting the #friendship and #partnership between France and #Africa.
We wish him success in his next tour of duty," reads the official statement from the French Embassy.
The outgoing diplomat has been lauded for fostering bilateral relations with Uganda and pacifying Africa especially their efforts to bring lasting peace to Eastern DRC.
Last week, President Yoweri Museveni met H.E Aniambossou and wished him well in his new assignment.
"I welcome their efforts. Europe has nothing to lose if they work well with Africa. I wish HE the Ambassador good luck as he takes on his new assignments," Museveni tweeted.
