Kampala City Parish Development Model (PDM) Focal Person Asia Nabisere has asked Muslims to disregard misinformation talk that PDM is riba (haram) and thus they shouldn’t go for it.

First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni urged the leaders in Ntungamo to ensure that the Parish Development Model is effectively implemented in the district.

President Yoweri Museveni has said the government has already put in place enough initiatives to create wealth and what's lacking is good leadership to realize the success of these projects.

The Minister of Local Government, Raphael Magyezi is on Thursday expected to present before Parliament guidelines for the implementation of the Parish Development Model (PDM).

President Yoweri Museveni officially launched the Parish Development Model (PDM) at Kibuku Primary School, Kibuku District in Bukedi Sub-region.  

PDM aims at helping people at the parish level to increase their household incomes and join the money economy. 

President Yoweri Museveni will officially launch the Parish Development Model (PDM) this coming Saturday.

According to Vice President Jessica Alupo, the launch will be held at Kibuku Primary School in Kibuku district.
