Gen Kainerugaba Meets Eswatini Princes Sicalo and Bandzile
The Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba this afternoon met Eswatini Princes, HRH Prince Sicalo Dlamini and his brother HRH Prince Bandzile Dlamini. The princes, who are sons of Eswatini's King Mswati III, paid a visit to the Ugandan General in Entebbe.
Gen Kainerugaba’s meeting with the princes follows a previous visit earlier this year, when King Mswati III hosted Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at his palace in the South African nation.
Gen. Kainerugaba expressed profound appreciation for the opportunity to meet the monarch who graciously welcomed him to his palace.
"Very honored to have met His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini recently. He is an exceptional monarch. Uganda and Eswatini relations are robust," Gen. Kainerugaba shared on Twitter following the meeting with King Mswati.
The two countries have upheld strong diplomatic ties, notably underscored by King Mswati's appointment of an honorary consul in Uganda in 2020.
During the meeting, the General engaged in discussions of various matters pertinent to Uganda and Eswatini with the visiting princes.
HRH Prince Sicalo Dlamini, who also serves as the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defence of Eswatini, and his delegation were also present at the wedding of His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga.
