The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations and Commander of the Special Forces Command has passed out a group of Police Presidential Guard (PPG) trainees following the completion of their course at Kasenyi Training School.

After being taken through a number of demonstrations regarding what they had studied during their course, Gen Kainerugaba expressed satisfaction with the quality of training and skills acquired by the soldiers.

"Today, I was happy to preside at the graduation ceremony of 189 Police Presidential Guard (PPG) trainees, who just completed their basic induction course at Kasenyi Training School. Impressed at the high level of training and motivation," Gen Kainerugaba tweeted after the function on Wednesday.

During the ceremony, the SFC Commander told the graduates to be exemplary to the rest of the police officers by upholding discipline and excellence in their work.

Although the PPG's main role is to provide policing services to the President, the first family, and other VIPs, Gen Kainerugaba advised them not to limit themselves but get all the skills required by other accomplished soldiers in order to be able to fulfill their duties satisfactorily.

Gen Kainerugaba presented awards to the best performing students who were recognized for their outstanding performance in different capabilities.
