President Museveni on Thursday met with Rwandan High Commissioner Designate to Uganda Col (rtd) Joseph Rutabana and Zimbabwe Ambassador-Designate to Uganda Winpeg Moyo at State House Entebbe.
In a statement, the president said he wished them “a fruitful term” in the East African nation. Museveni said the Moyo and her entourage “were awed by the Rwenzori Mountains' painting at State House”.
“I seized the opportunity to assure them that there is no country (in the world) more beautiful than Uganda,” he said. President Yoweri Museveni in 2019 visited Zimbabwe where his counterpart Emmerson Mnangagwa hailed him as a constant advocate for Africa’s economic emancipation, industrialization and value addition through the exploitation of the continent's resource.
The president had been invited as the chief guest at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), which attracted exhibitions from Belarus, Botswana, Ethiopia, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, the United States of America.
