Parliament Ends one month Recess

Parliament has ended its one month long recess that started in late September 2022.

The Speaker of Parliament Anita Among during the 36th Sitting of the 1st Meeting of the 2nd Session of the 11th Parliament held on 29th September 2022, adjourned the House sine die.

This was to allow MPs consult their constituents on the Parish Development Model (PDM) program whose implementation is underway. 

The Clerk to Parliament Adolf Mwesige in his communication dated 27th October 2022 has announced resumption of plenary sittings. 

"This is therefore to inform you that, plenary sittings will commence on Tuesday, 1st November 2022 at 2pm," he said in his letter.
