Gen Kainerugaba, Kyabazinga Discuss Busoga Development Programs

The senior presidential advisor on special operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba on Monday afternoon paid a courtey visit to the Kyabazinga His Highness William Gabula Nadiope IV to discuss socioeconomic initiatives for the youth in Busoga.

The meeting took place at the private residence of the Kyabazinga in Buziga, near Kampala.

“The Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba paid a courtesy call on the Kyabazinga to discuss socio-economic programs for the youth in Busoga,” a message from the General’s office reads.

Last year before officiating at a sports galla, General Kainerugaba and the Kyabazinga convened at the King's palace in Jinja, marking the significance of this renewed engagement. At the gala, Gen Kainerugaba praised Busoga region for being Uganda’s talent hub.

Relatedly, in 2019, then Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga hailed the Kyabazinga for making good friends for Busoga Kingdom.

Ms. Kadaga, an influential leader in Busoga went on to thank Gen Kainerugaba for being the Kyabazinga's friend. This was at the Kyabazinga’s coronationation anniversary. Kadaga then urged Gen Muhoozi and the Kyabazinga to strengthen their friendship for the good of Busoga and Ugandan in general.
