Museveni Warns Police Officers Against Involvement in Corruption

President Yoweri Museveni has said that police officers must stop involving themselves in corruption tendencies. 

The senior police officers led by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Maj Gen Paul Lokech were meeting the President at State House Entebbe.

The President tweeted on Sunday following the closed door meeting.

"Met senior police officers led by Deputy IGP, Gen Paul Loketch, at State House Entebbe. I have strongly warned them against involvement in corrupt practices. Corruption in the Police Force should stop," Gen Museveni said.

This comes after another closed door meeting with senior leaders of the UPDF. 

The last meeting was attended by among others the Chief of Defense Dorces, the SFC Commander among others.
