President Museveni's Meeting with UAE Investors Focuses on Value Addition

President Yoweri Museveni kicked off his three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates by meeting investors.

The president, who left Kampala on Sunday, pitched Uganda's interest in value addition.

"Held meetings with various investors and friends of Uganda upon my arrival in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I discussed with them our needs for value addition, available incentives and pro-business conditions. I am happy that they see the potential of doing business with us," President Museveni tweeted Monday morning.

President Museveni is also expected to hold meetings with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE.

He will also attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit, which starts today, Monday, and ends on January 19.
