On Monday, Uganda joined the rest of the world to commemorate World Tourism Day celebrated under the theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth”.
The ministry of Tourism revealed Thursday that Uganda saw tourist bookings triple in the first quarter of 2021, increasing from 27542 at the end of august 2020 to 83464 by end of March 2021.

Forbes, one of the most-read business magazines in the world, has named Uganda among the six places people should consider visiting this month.
In a Monday cabinet meeting, ministers approved individuals to sit on the boards of directors of the Uganda Tourism Board and the Architects Registration Board.
