Uganda Airlines will this coming week receive the second Airbus A330neo, the national carrier said in social media statements. The first was received in December of last year.

President Yoweri Museveni has said the reason the NRM has remained ahead of other political parties is because its focus has always been on people’s needs.

Uganda Airlines announced its re-entry into the long-haul overseas markets after acquiring the Airbus A330neo, which arrived in the country on Tuesday.

The national carrier order for two airbuses of the same make and the second will come in January, according to an official statement.

Uganda Airlines Chief Executive Cornwell Muleya said the arrival of the Airbus A330-800neo in December will see the flag carrier embark on building its international long-haul network.

Airbus on Friday pictured the Airbus A330-800neo after getting it out of the paint shop, an indicator that the aircraft manufacturer could make good on it having it shipped into Uganda in December.
