UNOC Boss Godfrey Andama Dies

Godfrey Andama, Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) Board member has died.

According to a statement from UNOC board of directors, Andama died on Sunday morning at Nakasero Hospital where he was admitted.

UNOC says that Andama served the Oil Company with passion, diligence and dedication.

Andama who has been a board member since 2015 will be buried on April 21 at Ocoko Close in Arua district.

In December last year, Andama who was a senior geoscientist, was vetted by the Parliamentary committee on Appointments after his contract was renewed by the appointing authority.
