Best of Kampala Announces Changes in Headliners after Kabza De Small Losing His Brother
Best of Kampala (B.O.K) announced changes in the lineup for its headliners following sad news that Kabza De Small had lost his brother and won't be performing. Instead of Small, Nasty C, who is already in the country, will entertain revelers on the first day of the 'Pop-up Beach Festival' event, set to take place at Lugogo Tennis Arena in Kampala on August 5 and 6.
Kabza Da Small has been replaced with DJ Maphorisa, who will perform on Sunday. Maphorisa has performed at previous editions. The rest of the lineup stays the same, according to Godwin Abooki Kato, the chief executive of B.O.K.
James Ninsima, the head of operations at B.O.K., said the show will start midday to 6am in the morning.
Natasha Mbazira, head of hospitality, walked the media through the event's history, noting that it's happening for the second season. Previous B.O.K editions have featured top DJs and artists like Major League DJs, DJ Maphorisa, DBN Gogo, The Ben, Mr. Jazziq, and more.
