The Deputy Commander of the Land Force, Major General Francis Takirwa, has advised the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) officers and soldiers to practice financial discipline to ensure a secure retirement. Speaking at the 1 Infantry Division handover in Kakiri, Wakiso District, Maj Gen Takirwa underscored the importance of saving and warned against irresponsible spending.
