SafeBoda announced Monday it had slashed both cash and cashless ride costs by 50%.
The ride-hailing firm says the offer will run from Monday, May 3 to Friday, May 7, after which the cost will be at 30% off every ride for the rest of the month.
A report published by the National Information Technology Authority–Uganda (NITA-U) on data protection has shown that SafeBoda did not sell any customer data.
SafeBoda and Coca-Cola Beverages Africa on Saturday rewarded SafeBoda riders who have done an exceptional job in the delivery of essential goods, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Uganda-grown ride-hailing firm SafeBoda announced suspension of its operations in Kenya, citing the effects of Covid-19 restrictions on its operations.
The company says the decision will take effect on November 27. It did not say when operations would resume.
