President Museveni has appointed Professor Moses Muhwezi as the new Principal of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), succeeding Prof Waswa Balunywa, who retired in 2023 after leading the institution for 26 years.

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has urged young Ugandans to pursue competence-based degree programs, emphasizing that such courses offer practical skills essential for reducing unemployment and contributing to economic growth.
