Gen Kainerugaba, Family Plant Trees to Mark 50th Birthday

In celebration of his 50th birthday, the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, engaged in acts of service, planting 50 trees in one of the UPDF barracks.

Gen Kainerugaba was joined by Special Forces Command (SFC) soldiers in planting the trees at the Luttamaguzi Barracks in Kigungu, Entebbe, as a way to commemorate his birthday and emphasize his commitment to environmental conservation.

Joined by his wife, Charlotte, youngest daughter, and SFC soldiers, Gen. Muhoozi's day of service continued with the unveiling of a new Neonatal Special Care Unit at the Dr. Ronald Bata Memorial Hospital in Entebbe. This facility will play a crucial role in providing essential care for pre-term babies.

Furthermore, as a gesture of support, they donated Mama kits to new mothers at the hospital.
