Tanzanian CDF Extends Congratulatory Message to Ugandan Counterpart

This afternoon, a Tanzanian delegation, led by Maj Gen Marco Elisha Gaguti of TPDF, met with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).

They extended greetings and congratulations from Gen Jacob Mkunda, CDF of the Tanzania People's Defence Force, to Gen Kainerugaba on his recent appointment as the CDF of the Uganda People's Defence Force.

During the meeting at the SFC Headquarters in Entebbe, discussions centered on strengthening the historical alliance between Uganda and Tanzania and exploring ways to enhance training opportunities for officers in both countries.

The Tanzanian delegation also included Lt Col Fred Jonas Moshi from the Directorate of Training and Maj Abubakar Mwindadi.

The Tanzanian delegation also attended the pass-out ceremony of UPDF cadets at the Kaweweta Basic Military Training School.

On the UPDF side, Lt Gen Kayanja Muhanga, the Commander of Land Forces, and Maj Gen BD Mugisha, the SFC Commander, attended the meeting.
