Jackie Ochola named director at dfcu Bank

Jackie Ochola, the country director of C-Squared Uganda, has been named to the board of dfcu Bank Limited, Angelina Namakula, the company secretary announced in a statement.

According to the statement, she took over on October 28.

A holder of a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Makerere University, and a master of communications management from Coventry University in the U.K, Ochola has been mainly involved in the tech industry, with stints at Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, Uganda Telecom.

Her work has taken her to serve in countries like Kenya, DR Congo and Nigeria. Before CSquared, she had been the country director for Andela Uganda.

She had joined the talent placement company for software developers in June of 2018.

She joined CSquared in July of this year.

Jackie Ochola, who is also a certified project management professional — serves as a member of the Uganda National Task Force on Emerging (4IR) Technologies.
