The Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) has urged students at Kings College Budo to pursue careers grounded in patriotism, discipline, and national service during the school’s annual Career Day held this week.

Major Bilal Katamba, Acting Deputy Director of Defence Public Information, led the UPDF delegation and encouraged students to view the military not only as a career but also as a platform to serve and protect their country.

“Embrace patriotism, discipline, and a commitment to serving Uganda,” Major Katamba told students.
