Thirty-one leaders from 12 African countries have completed Coca-Cola Beverages Africa’s (CCBA) senior leadership programme, which expanded in 2026 to bring together participants from more companies within the Coca-Cola system.
The graduates formed the second group to complete the EDGE Senior Leadership Acceleration Programme and its first pan-African cohort.
CCBA developed the programme with Henley Business School Africa to prepare promising leaders for greater responsibility. It combines classroom lessons with business projects, mentoring and coaching.
The 2026 intake included leaders from Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company. Their participation broadened a programme that had previously included leaders from The Coca-Cola Company.
Participants came from different countries and business functions. They studied strategy, business transformation, commercial decision-making and team leadership. To graduate, they also presented projects that addressed their organisations’ priorities.
CCBA serves more than 840,000 customers across Africa. The company said the programme helps its leaders respond to challenges across markets with different business conditions.
Natasa Prodanovic, CCBA’s chief people and culture officer, said the training reflected the company’s investment in staff development.
“People are at the heart of everything we do, and programmes like EDGE demonstrate our commitment to investing in their growth and future success,” she said.
Prodanovic said bringing together colleagues from across the Coca-Cola system allowed participants to exchange ideas, build professional relationships and strengthen cooperation across markets.
The programme forms part of CCBA’s wider effort to develop future leaders and support business growth across Africa.
