Business is returning to normal two days after a twin terror incident outside Parliament building and Kampala Central Police Station (CPS).

3 Ugandans were reportedly killed in the two bomb explosions and at least 37 were injured. Since the attack on Tuesday, a team of Forensic and Counter- Terror experts sealed off roads leading to the two crime scenes and have been combing and documenting evidence.

By Thursday morning, business had slightly returned to normal at Parliament with strict security checks at the single main entrance. By press time, access to the Parliamentary avenue had been relaxed to the rest of the motorists and there was normal traffic flow.

According to a communication issued by the Clerk to Parliament, Adolf Mwesige, plenary sitting is also expected to return this afternoon where the House will among others discuss pertinent issues including the current security situation where the Prime Minister is expected to issue a brief.

Other businesses to be handled include; compensation of victims of LRA and NRA insurgency, loan request to finance Uganda Secondary School Education Expansion project (USSEEP).
