Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja led a gathering of government leaders in Greater Luwero, emphasizing the drive for agricultural growth and economic transformation. Accompanying her were Vice Chairman of NRM for Central Region Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi, Deputy Secretary General of NRM Rose Namayanja Nsereko and Public Service Minister Muruuli Mukasa, among other leaders.

The purpose was to connect with local leaders and prepare for an upcoming agricultural exhibition in the Luwero, Nakasongola, and Nakaseke districts. Reiterating the government's unswerving commitment to improve the livelihoods of ordinary citizens, Nabbanja shed light on the importance of effectively implementing strategies aimed at eradicating poverty at the very grassroots of society.

"The NRM government stands firmly committed to hosting these annual agricultural exhibitions. Our aim is to empower farmers with the latest advancements in crop and animal husbandry. Through these concerted efforts, we remain steadfast in our mission to combat poverty through diverse alleviation programs," the Prime Minister emphatically stated.

The Premier called upon the local community to rally behind these pivotal agricultural showcases. With a keen awareness of exhibitors' eagerness to impart fundamental insights and elevate the nation's agricultural productivity, she rallied for widespread participation.

Kiwanda underscored the central focus of the project – the provision of authentic agricultural inputs as a potent countermeasure against counterfeit products that have hampered productivity. A paramount objective of the expos is to instill a culture of commercial farming and ultimately propel overall production. "Our endeavor through these agricultural exhibitions is to inspire farmers to embrace profitable farming practices, harness genuine agricultural inputs, take pride in their yield, and seamlessly embrace the latest farming technologies."

Namayanja Nsereko said: "Bridging communities and farmers with reputable agricultural input dealers catering to both crops and animal husbandry. Leveraging the Parish Development Model, farmers gain equitable access to these critical resources, effectively addressing the resource constraints that have hampered their efforts.

"The model will give farmers access to reputable dealers at reasonable prices."
