Gen. Kainerugaba Meets Ethiopian Ambassador, Extends Invitation to Counterpart

The Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, this afternoon met with the Ethiopian Ambassador to Uganda, Etsegenet Bezabih at the UPDF General Headquarters in Mbuya. 

The Ethiopian Ambassador was accompanied by a colleague from the embassy.

During the meeting, Gen. Kainerugaba extended an official invitation to his Ethiopian counterpart, Field Marshal Birhanu Jula, Chief of Staff of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, as communicated by the CDF’s office.

In past communications, Gen. Kainerugaba has emphasized the crucial role of both Uganda and Ethiopia in fostering stability within East Africa and the continent as a whole.
