Atuhe Innocent, The Yellow Bus Conductor.

Reader, the National Resistance Movement Organisation (NRM-O) is approaching the tail end of its Primaries of its candidates for the upcoming National electoral cycle. 

These primaries also elect leaders of our Revolutionary party - at the National Executive (NEC) level and at the Central Executive Committee level (CEC). It is these leaders that together with the National Chairman help to chart the party's path going forward. This time,the party, as informed by our Chairman, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,aims to “Protect The Gains” of our Revolution “As we make a Qualitative Leap into High Middle Income Status”.

One of these gains is the opportunity of a new generation of younger party members to vie for and be part of the Central Executive Committee (CEC). This is absolutely crucial because it is to younger members that the party will be left. It is the younger members that will face the challenges and rewards of our gains, that are charged with truthfully scripting the legacy of our seniors Revolution starting 1966, through 1979 and culminating in the National Resistance Army's victory on January 26th 1986. 

This is why Dr. Atuhe Innocent, a proud member of our party, a champion of its treasured ideals of Democracy, Nationalism, Pan-Africanism and Socio-Economic Transformation of our Ugandan and African Societies now seeks the support and votes of delegates to the position of National Vice Chairperson, Western Uganda. It is why he has earned our support. 

As a Yellow Bus Conductor, working closely with our National Chairperson and other senior party leaders, it is our  belief that the whispered transition, the Gains of our Revolution, our ideologies have,in him,found fertile ground for current and future generations. 

Dr. Atuhe Innocent's promise, inspired by Mwalimu Nyerere: “As yellow bus conductor, with the guidance of Chairman Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, I will continue my education of strategies and goals of the NRM-O to the best of my ability and use this education for the benefit of all.” 

And as we all know, every bus serves its clients best when it has a good and trusted Conductor. 

As we know, no orchestra, for politics is an orchestra of ideology, is ever without a Conductor.
